Friday: 8:30am to 4:00pm EST
In partnership with Patient Advocate Foundation, the LEISHLine Financial Aid Fund works to support eligible patients who have an Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), Sepsis and/or Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) physician verified diagnosis within a six month look-back period. Each approved patient will receive a one-time $1,000.00 payment to be applied towards the following expenses: rent/mortgage, transportation, utilities, food/nutritional needs and/or lodging.
We will award grants to ten approved applicants per month. The application portal will close once we have exhausted all ten grants for the month and reopen on the first of the following month. All applicants will be considered on a first come, first serve basis and applications will be reviewed by the Patient Advocate Foundation’s team of certified case workers. Funding requests can be made by phone or online through the LEISHLine Financial Aid Fund.
We will endeavor to accommodate requests where appropriate, however, due to the large volume of requests made each month, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled.

TESTIMONIAL
“After I lost 2 of my toes, I was partially disabled, home bound, and unable to work at my job. I was living entirely off of my savings for about 6 weeks. I feared I might lose my apartment, and all my stuff. The grant I was given provided a step back up, when everything seemed to be in a downward spiral. Now, I am back working light duty, and doing an odd job or two here and there. While I’m not completely out of the woods, I have found a marked trail and I see signs of civilization. God bless you!”

TESTIMONIAL
“I was unable to afford physical therapy for post sepsis recovery. Your grant has enabled me to seek rehabilitation to hopefully walk again. You have offered me hope for recovery and a normal life while struggling through this debilitating illness. Thank you so much.”
