Begin Again Foundation's Butterfly Blessings program helps families of children admitted to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters who demonstrate a severe hardship. After CHKD social workers conduct an assessment to determine family needs, the fund is utilized as a short-term resource to help families with expenses related to transportation (gas, tolls, cab fare), meals, medications, baby items, household utilities, rent and even funeral expenses.
